Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind Names Maria MacMullin Vice President of Development
Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind today announced the appointment of veteran development and fundraising executive Maria MacMullin to the position of Vice President of Development.
An experienced philanthropy executive, MacMullin will be responsible for the growing non-profit organization’s fundraising and community engagement, including public relations and brand awareness building. Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind provides jobs, training, assistive technology and critical support services, and promote the independence of individuals living with blindness.

The timing of her arrival couldn't be better as the Lighthouse announces its growth into women's fashion, emerging medical devices and its venture into a new facility that will incorporate a vision center with an array of lab support and vision impaired technology training that is new to North Texas."

Most recently, MacMullin was Senior Director of Development for Cancer Support Community North Texas. Prior to that position, she held various senior level positions in Dallas including Senior Director of Advancement for the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance, and Director of Development for Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation.
She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and resides in Frisco with her family.
